MDaemon incorporates WorldClient - a powerful and sophisticated webmail client for users to access their MDaemon accounts from any modern web browser anywhere in the World (additional firewall/gateway configuration may be required for access from outside your network).
WorldClient provides desktop like access to all the usual folders and settings users would expect from a normal email client like Outlook and includes full access to Email, Calendar, Contact, Task and Notes folders along with the ability to share these folders and schedule meetings with other users.
WorldClient provides numerous options for users to customise the look and feel of the interface including the ability to switch themes. Mailbox rules can also be set-up and account settings such as passwords, mail forwarding and out-of-office auto-responders can all be configured directly within WorldClient's options.
Using WorldClient means you can provide your users with a comprehensive integrated groupware solution without needing to deploy expensive and complex email clients like Outlook on to your users' desktop PCs.
WorldClient uses IMAP to talk to MDaemon which means that users can switch between any standard IMAP email client and WorldClient as required whilst still having access to the same email folders and messages.
Outlook users can also access the same email, calendar, contact, task and note folders if they're using the Outlook Connector plug-in to connect to MDaemon allowing them to switch seemlessly between Outlook and WorldClient as required.
