Integrated phone synchronisation with SyncML and IMAP
MDaemon includes a SyncML service which allows mobile devices to synchronise their Calendar and Contacts with their MDaemon account using a SyncML client. Modern Symbian based mobile devices (eg. Nokia, Sony, Motorola, Samsung) include SyncML clients by default and so can be quickly and easily configured to connect to MDaemon's SyncML service. Windows Mobile, Blackberry, iPhone and PalmOS based devices will need a small third party SyncML application to be installed - these are available from a number of vendors and are either free or very low cost.
For Email synchronisation and access, it is recommended to use the built in IMAP client which most modern mobile devices now include.
For Blackberry devices, we recommend either forwarding email from MDaemon to your Blackberry email address or configuring your Blackberry account to poll your MDaemon mailbox using IMAP.
Use the links below to see instructions on how to configure your phone to synchronise with MDaemon using SyncML.
