VOIP Providers for use with 3CX
VOIP providers offer inbound and outbound call routing between traditional telephone networks and your 3CX VOIP PBX. Typically they offer much cheaper call costs when compared to placing calls through traditional phonelines.
Most VOIP providers also provide inbound call routing to your 3CX PBX via a new telephone number (or numbers) that they will assign to you when you sign up with them.
Bare in mind that calls placed via your 3CX PBX through a VOIP provider will be transmitted via IP over the Internet, the call quality can be dependent on a number of factors and so can be variable. The quality of the service through a VOIP provider will be highly dependent on the quality and reliability of your own Internet connectivity. Because of this we always recommend using a VOIP Gateway with 3CX to allow routing of business critical calls across the traditional phone network in conjunction with cheaper call routing provided by a VOIP provider.
